How do SESSIONS work?
By opening up restricted patterns in the breath through body positioning, verbal guidance, affirmations and hands on support, we are able to help you increase your flow of oxygen and encourage the physical detoxification process.
Generally, the muscles that are restricting the breath are also holding on to memories and/or emotions holding us back in our lives, which can come up to be integrated.
The high frequency created through the connected breath entrains and transforms the lower density patterns stored in the body and creates space for more creativity, peace, connection and freedom.
How has this helped ME?
It helped me tap into my willpower—I truly did not think I could breathe for an hour straight when I was first introduced to the technique.
I feel more confident and comfortable in my body and express myself with more freedom. I am able to make more meaningful connections with others and maintain eye contact more easily, as well as speak up about my needs and set boundaries. I generally feel more grounded and aware in daily life.
How do I prepare for my breath session?
Wear loose/comfortable clothing—clothes you can breathe in. Ideally do not come in with a full stomach of food. Please also do not plan appointments back to back and allow yourself plenty of time to be present for yourself before and after the session.
You can also contemplate an intention for the session. What would you like more of in your life? To feel better in your body? To express yourself more? Love and acceptance of yourself and others? To uncover your gifts? To feel centered? Clarity? Happiness? Just feel a tiny bit better?
How many sessions should i do?
To start, we encourage you to book at least three to five facilitated sessions (privately or in a group) to take place over the first few months, as well as commit to a short five-minute daily breathing practice to help you maintain the benefits you receive during your full sessions. When agreed that you are ready, instructions for full self-sessions can be provided.
There is also an abundance of seminars and trainings that you can attend for deeper levels of integration through the Transformational Breath® Foundation.
